2025 Spring Semester Dormitory Check-out

A. Time:
Summer dorm Time
Students don't live in the dorm during summer.
a. The deadline: Students need to check-out by 12:00 noon on June 20, 2025.
b. The processing time is from Monday to Sunday, 8:30a.m. to 4p.m.
Students apply for another bed in summer dorm.
a. Students may stay in the semester bed from June 20 until the move to the summer dorm is completed. The move to the summer dorm must be completed within one day.
b. Starting from June 20, summer students will be allowed to inquire at the check-out locations for each dorm or the service centers whether the spring semester bed has completed the check-out procedure. If it is acceptable that the spring semester bed has not yet completed the check-out inspection, summer students can move in their beds from June 20 to June 21, 2025, and no charge for summer dorm early check-in.
c. Students need to complete the move to the summer dorm by 4:00 p.m. on June 22, 2025.
Students apply for the same bed in summer dorm. Students don't need to finish the check-out procedure.
B. Method:
a. Check-out:
Every person is considered as a unit. Please refer to the “Notice for Check-out” and fill the “Dormitory Property Checkout Certificate”, take it to the dormitory administrator, and ensure it stamped. Remember to save a copy of the list. If a student checks out of a dormitory with untrue information or photos, the student's dormitory deposit will be deducted and the student's advisor will be notified.
b. Moving to the summer bed:
Students go to the designated location with their student ID to take the keys and complete the check-out procedure.

D. Dormitory deposit:
a. Rules of deducting from dormitory deposit:
1. If the students did not complete the withdrawal procedure and move, they will be processed according to the Subparagraph A and B of Article 7 of Dorm Rules for NTHU.
2. If the students did not clean up the room (chair, desk, keyboard stand, wardrobe, floor, door, bed, etc.), 1000 NT dollars/person will be deducted. The violation of other items may refer to Dorm Rules for NTHU, Annex II-Dormitory Property Checkout Certificate and Fine Standard.
b. Refund of dormitory deposit and time:
1. The dormitory deposit (NT$1,000) for spring semester will be refunded to students' bank account through the School Academic Information System in August. Students can check by logging into the Academic Information System. (Academic Information system →Income Inquiry →Monthly Income Inquiry)
2. Students need to confirm that the account number is correct (must be students' own account). If students do not have an account with any of these three banks, E.SUN, Mega Bank and Chunghwa Post Co., they need to go to the Cashier Division webpage→表單下載→【傳票】→【校內傳票匯款同意書】to download and fill it out, and hand it with a photocopy of students' passbook cover to the Division of Cashier. If the refund cannot be made because the student has not registered his/her account or has registered incorrectly, a check will be issued by the University and sent back to the student's permanent address by registered mail if the student has a registered address in Taiwan. If the student does not have a permanent address in Taiwan, he/she will be notified of the refund. However, if the refund still cannot be made after all, the refund amount will be temporarily transferred to the specific account of the University according to the Item b, Subparagraph B of Article 5 of Dorm Rules for NTHU.
3. For students about to leave campus after graduation, please do not close their accounts in the School Academic Information System before receiving the dormitory deposit.
