Re-election of Head Resident of Dorms for 2015
1. Candidate Registration Qualifications: the students who live in student dormitory, able to serve until the end of his or her tenure as Head Resident of Dorms.
2. Registration dates: Nov. 2-13, 9:00-12:00am, 2:00-5:00pm, please bring Student ID, Letter of Pledge, Candidate Registration Form to make registration at Division of Student Housing. Please e-mail the electronic copy of Candidate Registration Form to hcchang@mx.nthu.edu.tw first.
3. Registration place: Division of Student Housing
4. Election Campaign activities: from Dec. 1 (Tuesday) to Dec. 8 (Tuesday), 9:00pm. Notes: Candidates are prohibited from making any propaganda or other related activities around the voting booths, and those who are against this rule will be deprived of their candidateship and their winning of election will be nullified.
5. Time for ballot counting: ballot-counting will be held immediately after voting hours from 6:30 to 8:30pm, on Dec. 9, Wednesday, and the result will be announced soon after ballot-counting. If any two candidates get the same highest amount of votes, the final winner will be decided by lot-drawing at the spot.
6. Tenure: from Feb. 1, 2016 to Jan. 31, 2017
7. This Announcement is not applicable to the Head Resident of Dorms for Shinn, Yi, Li Dorms(Freshmen Dorms) who will be named in accordance with the “Measures for Higher-grade Students to Serve at New Student Dorms.”
8. This Announcement is not applicable to the Head Resident of Dorms for Jen and Xue Dorms who will be elected in accordance with other campus rules of the National Tsing-Hua University.
Notes:
1. Desserts are served at the voting booth of each dormitory. Students are encouraged to cast ballot and be sure to bring Student ID.
2. Please refer to the Autonomy Regulations for Student Houses, National Tsing-Hua University for responsibilities and obligations of Head Resident of Dorms.
3. Those candidates without complete required documents will be deprived of their candidateship.
