Check-in Schedule
1. August 24th and August 25th, 08:30 to 16:00 (with a noon break from 12:00 to 13:00). Senior student volunteers will assist with luggage and guide new students. It is recommended that each new student be accompanied by one family member for smoother check-in.
2. New students who miss the above dates should proceed to their assigned dormitories starting from August 26th, including weekends.
In case of class suspensions announced by the Hsinchu City Government, new check-in procedures will be announced separately.
Dormitory Transportation Information
1. Main Campus is located on " Kuang-Fu Road", while Nanda Campus is on "Nanda Road". Please proceed directly to the dormitory in your respective campus for check-in.
2. Due to heavy traffic during check-in, it is recommended to follow the suggested check-in dates as follows:

3. After entering the campus, follow the designated route and guidance from personnel. Unload luggage at the dormitory entrance and promptly move vehicles out of the dormitory area to parking lots.

Enter the Dormitory
1. Before receiving student ID card, use door access codes to enter and exit dormitories (except for Dorm Wen). Codes can be checked on the Division of Student Housing website after August 22nd. New students at Dorm Wen should download the "iNTHU" App and use the QR code for entry.
2. After obtaining student ID card, access dormitories using the ID card. Contact the service centers for temporary cards if unable to enter. Promptly apply for a replacement at the Academic Information Systems if ID card is lost.

Dormitory Maintenance Upon check-in, thoroughly inspect dormitory items. Report any issues directly to the service center managers. For damaged equipment, use the online repair application on the Student Division of Student Housing website. Maintenance & Repair Form(Link
Dormitory Internet Starting from August 22nd, dormitory internet can be applied.
To apply for internet access:
● Go to the Computer and Communication Center website.
● Navigate to the Division of Network System.
● Select Student Dormitory Network.
● Proceed with the Dormitory Network Application.

AC Card Purchase
1. Each room is allowed one AC card for use with the meter. During new student check-in days (August 24th and 25th), AC cards are available at Service Center 1, Service Center 2, Nanda Service Center, Dorm Wen, and Dorm Hsin. Reload cards at designated machines when balance is low.
2. At Main Campus, purchase at 7-11 convenience store or designated machine (in front of Division of Student Housing Office). At Nanda Campus, purchase at Nanda Service Center or designated machine (Shu Te Building). Contact service centers for assistance with malfunctioning machines.

Mail and Packages
1. After completing check-in, send registered mail or packages to the service center for collection. Use "iNTHU" App to check package status.
2. Refer to "Service Guidelines for Mail and Parcel Services in the Dormitories of National Tsing Hua University" for details. Personal luggage, mattresses, quilts, or other large furniture items are generally not accepted for collection. Coordinate with the service centers in advance; uncoordinated items will not be collected.

Dormitory Living Reminders
1. Please read and adhere to "Dorm Rules for NTHU". Violations will result in point deductions, which accumulate. Accumulating 10 points or more will lead to the cancellation of accommodation for the next semester. Accumulating 15 points or more requires moving out of the dormitory within two weeks, the deposit will not be refund, and cancellation of accommodation application for the next academic year.
2. Accommodation applications are based on an academic year. If you want to relinquish your bed for the next semester, please do so within the specified deadline to avoid penalties.
3. Parcel and mail services are managed by respective zone service centers. Please try to collect parcels before 22:00. Use the following addressing format:

4. For electrical safety in the dormitory, only mobile phones and computer peripherals are allowed. All other electrical appliances are prohibited. Refrigerators in dormitory rooms must be applied for through the Division of Student Housing Office per room (capacity limit of 100 liters, NT$400 each semester). When using dormitory air conditioning, please strictly follow the Division of Student Housing Office guidelines and do not unplug the air conditioning card directly when turning it off.
5. Dormitories are equipped with basic kitchens for warming food only; cooking is strictly prohibited. Students with cooking needs may use the public kitchen and are responsible for maintaining cleanliness. Please maintain cleanliness and integrity of all items in the dormitory, and refrain from using double-sided tape or sticking items on plastic flooring.
6. The Student Assistance Division is on duty 24 hours a day (Main Campus: 03-5711814, Nanda Campus: 0911-799474) along with Campus Security (03-5714769) to ensure student safety. Each dormitory area has a service center ( service center 1: 03-5162448, service center 2: 03-5162449, service center 3: 03-5162450, Nanda service center: 03-5715131 ext. 74700, 74701) staffed by duty officers who rotate shifts (general affairs are handled before 22:00; after 22:00 emergencies are addressed).
