【New Undergraduate】Applications for 2026 New Undergraduate Students

1. Eligibility for Application:
All incoming undergraduate freshmen at our university are eligible for priority on-campus housing. Failure to apply will be regarded as a waiver of the priority housing eligibility.
2. Allocation Principles:
(1) Undergraduate freshmen will be assigned to dormitories on the main campus. Room assignments will be randomly allocated based on student preferences submitted. Bed assignments will depend on preferred sleep time and academic department.
(2) Wen dorm will undergo bathroom renovation work next to the elevators during the 2026 fall semester, with completion expected in November 2026. Intermittent construction noise may occur during the construction period. For the safety of residents, access will be limited to the front stairway during the construction period. Students are advised to take the construction situation into consideration, along with their personal needs, when submitting their dormitory preferences.
(3) "COLLEGE OF ARTS" freshmen will be assigned to the Nanda Campus due to class location requirements.
(4) "TSING HUA INTERDISCIPLINARY PROGRAM" freshmen will be assigned to the main campus dormitories: Shyr and Jen dorm.
3. Regulations:
(1) Before applying for the dormitory, students must read the "Dorm Rules for NTHU" carefully.
(2) Students wishing to apply for Quiet Rooms must carefully review the "Rules and regulations for quiet rooms at NTHU".
4. Application Notice:
(1) From August 17, 2026, at 16:00 to August 19, 2026, at noon 12:00.
(2) Please activate your Academic Information System account first, and then log in to the Student Dormitory System with that account to apply for accommodation (housing application guidelines).
5. Bed Assignment Results:
Results will be announced on the Division of Student Housing website on August 20, 2026 at 16:00.
6. The check-in period is August 30 and 31 2026, starting from 8:30 to 16:00. (Break time 12:00-13:00).

7. Bed Assignment Changes:
If you wish to change your bed, you may apply to Division of Student Housing Office after the announcement date in accordance with Article 4 of "Dorm Rules for NTHU".
8. Bed Giving up:
(1) Students who wish to give up their assigned bed after the announcement must apply before 17:00 on September 3, 2026.
(2) Please email the designated staff member with a valid form of identification (image file) attached. The withdrawal will be processed once you receive confirmation via reply email.
