Student Dormitory Air-Conditioner Card Instructions
1. Each dorm room is equipped with one card reader. Only one air-conditioner card can be used per reader, and the electricity rate is NT$4.4 per kWh.
2. To purchase or top up an air-conditioner card, please visit the service locations listed in the table below.

3. Card Refund Information
A. If you no longer need to use your air-conditioner card, please first print the balance detail slip at the card machine.
B. Then bring both the card and the balance slip to the Division of Student Housing Office (Main Campus) during office hours to process a manual refund.
C. Cards with a zero balance can be returned directly to the 7-11 convenience store in the Food Court to claim a NT$50 environmental refund.
4. Notes
A. If the card reader cannot read your card, try cleaning the chip with an eraser and reinsert it. If it still does not work, please visit the Service Center or the Division of Student Housing Office (Main Campus) for assistance.
B. Old version cards (with a blue back) are not eligible for the NT$50 environmental refund.
C. Cards with a white front are issued by the Division of Student Activities for clubroom use. They are not compatible with the air-conditioner card system managed by the Division of Student Housing and cannot be topped up or refunded in the same way.
D. For bulk card purchases (e.g., for summer camps), please contact the Division of Student Housing staff.
E. If the card reader in your room has a completely empty balance, inserting the card will automatically deduct 1 kWh from the card and store it in the reader's memory.
