To Enter the Summer Dormitory
【For student with student ID card】
1. Present your student ID or other identifications with picture to the Dormitory Service Center to receive dormitory keys after verification.
2. Swipe card at the dormitory door card reader to enter and exit the dormitory.
【For new comer without student ID card】
1. Applicable Period: Every Summer and September
2. Please go to NTHU Dormitory Access System (scheduled to open on June 28) for password during the open time
(1) Enter your student ID number (ex. 112001001) and four numbers of your birthday (ex. Aug. 1st → 0801), then press Inquiry.
(2) To enter the dormitory, enter the password (a total of 9 digits and #) provided by the system into the door card reader by the gate.
Enter the first 5 digits (there may be some beep), then continue to enter the last 4 digits and #.

(3) The password can only be used for the dormitory the student is residing in. All passwords are void in the end of September. Please use student ID card after receiving it.
※ If you can't enter the new dormitory after transfer or find the password, please contact with Division of Student Housing during office hours.
※ Exchange students shall go to Division of Student Housing to pay the dormitory fee first.
3. From July 1, you can go to the service center of each dormitory with your identification and get the key.

【Applying for the new student ID card】
1. Please bring your identification and go to the service center to take the key.
2. Please borrow a temporary card from the service center and pay a deposit of $100. After receiving a new student card (the card will be automatically updated at 6 o'clock), then return the temporary card to the service center. If the card is not damaged or overdue, the deposit will be refunded. For details, please refer to the National Tsing Hua University Student Dormitory Temporary Card Operating Procedure.
3. Contact the service center or Division of Student Housing if you are unable to enter the dormitory.
