1. Service Period & Eligibility
(1) Service Period: From the check-in date to the check-out date of each semester.
(2) Eligibility: Dormitory residents who have completed the check-in procedure.
2. Delivery
(1) Recipient Name:
Please write the resident's full name and student ID number. Do not use nicknames or someone else's name. Mail or packages with names that do not match the student housing system will be returned to sender.
(2) Mailing Address:
Please write the complete and correct dormitory name and room number. If the address is incomplete, mail may be delivered to the university's central mailroom instead of the dormitory.

3. Collection Procedure:
(1) Regular Mail:
Regular mail will be delivered directly to the dormitory mailboxes. Residents should check their mailboxes regularly.
(2) Registered Mail and Packages:
A. Notification: Notifications will be sent via the Electronic Bulletin Board and email, or can be viewed in the iNTHU app.
B. Procedure:
Bring your student ID or valid identification to the service center between 07:00 AM and 07:00 PM. Items must be collected within two weeks. Unclaimed items will be returned to the post office or delivery company after the two-week period.

4. Related Regulations
(1) No collection service is offered for court and legal documents, or mail and parcels concerning personal legal rights and interests.
(2) The service center does not pay the postage for the mail and parcels. The relevant charges arising from the mail and parcels shall be handled by residents themselves, and the service center may not provide the receiving and dispatching service.
(3) Personal luggage, mattresses, quilts or other large furniture are not included in postal service.

Article 8 of the Dorm Rules:
Dormitory Visitor Regulations
A. Visiting hours: Male dormitory's visiting hours are from 8:00 to 24:00; female dormitory's visiting hours are from 8:00 to 17:00. Visitors are not allowed to enter another person's dormitory or room outside of the period unless they have permission of the on-duty dormitory instructors, counselors of the Division of Student Assistance, or dormitory managers.
B. Visitors are required to register online at the Division of Student Housing website or register in person with their personal ID at each service center.
C. The meeting place is limited to the lounge in the dormitory (except for moving dormitories, or with the permission of the dormitory instructors, counselors of the Division of Student Assistance, staff of the Division of Student Housing, dormitory managers, or all roommates).
D. In the event of special circumstances in the dormitory area (such as failures or abnormalities in hardware facilities, including civil engineering, plumbing, electricity, or gas), other dormitories may be opened only after the dormitory head residents notifying to the dormitory instructors, the Division of Student Assistance, or the Division of Student Housing.
According to Article 9 of the Dorm Rules, violations of dormitory visitor regulations will result in a deduction of 5 to 15 points, depending on the severity of the violation.

● You may ask other roommates if they are willing to exchange beds, or contact the Division of Student Housing to check for available vacant beds and apply for a reassignment.
● All bed exchanges and vacant bed reassignments must be processed through the Division of Student Housing. Residents are also required to complete check-in and check-out procedures at the service center. Violations will result in a deduction of 10 points in accordance with regulations.

According to Article 9, Subparagraph A, Item a of the Dorm Rules and the Point Deduction Standards Table (2-2):
Without the consent of the Division of Student Housing, the use or placement of electrical appliances such as air conditioners, refrigerators, electric kettles, rice cookers, electric heaters, televisions, VCRs, electric blankets, or electrical appliances with a power consumption of 500W or above that may affect electrical safety will result in a deduction of 5 points per item (counted as a violation item). Violating items must be removed from the dormitory within two weeks. Failure to remove them upon reinspection will result in continuous point deductions. (Mobile phones, tablets, computer peripherals are excluded. Hairdryers are only allowed to be used in the common room, bathroom, or toilet. Violators will be subject to point deductions as specified above.)
Additional Notes:
● Use certified extension cords and power strips equipped with overload protection. Do not connect extension cords in series.
● Students are responsible for the safekeeping and safety of any personal electrical appliances not provided by the dormitory.

Keeping pets or feeding animals in the dormitory is prohibited. Violations will result in a 2.5 point deduction in accordance with the Dorm Rules.

According to Article 6, Subparagraph D of the Dorm Rules:
There shall be a control for ceiling lights in undergraduate dormitories, which shall be regulated by each dormitory (no later than 2:00 a.m.). The rule does not apply to desk lamps.

Smoking is strictly prohibited on campus in accordance with the Tobacco Hazards Prevention Act. This includes cigarettes, e-cigarettes, and heated tobacco products. For more information, please refer to the tobacco control section on the website of the Health Service Division. Violations within the dormitory area will result in a 10 point deduction in accordance with the Dorm Rules.
